Camogie

So I started playing this sport called camogie.  Today was my first practice.  It's an old Irish game.  Kind of a combination of lacrosse and field hockey.  I like it cause it's a good workout and I can meet new people.  It's a pretty crazy sport though.  You basically just like run around with these sticks and try to hit this ball (about the size of a baseball) and get it into the goal.  It's not that hard to pick up the basics.  And all the other girls are just learning as well.  It's the first year of the team.  But, yeah, it's cool and I had a lot of fun.  Right now I'm just borrowing their extra equipment.  But will prolly have to invest in a stick and a helmet and shin guards if I want to keep playing.  If you come visit, you can watch me play.  :)
