bikes bikes bikes

i like bikes.  now that the weather is nice i have been riding a lot more.  multiple times per day.  they just make me feel good.  if i bike somewhere i feel so good about it.  like if i have to go somewhere that is 5 miles away, i want to feel that 5 miles.  i don't want to sit in a metal box and not interact with my surroundings as i travel.  and then i'm just like yeah dude yeah i just rode my bike here.  nothing better.

today i went with shannon to the bike store to buy her bike.  those bikes were so pretty.  oh my goodness.  i just walked around and looked at them.  and the one shannon bought is pretty awesome.  we've ridden a few times and she just uses my other bike.  but now that she has her own we're gonna ride even more.  she's gonna be addicted.  cause cycling is awesome.  there's just something about it.

while we were at the bike store i grabbed some chain lube.  my chain is such a mess.  it needed some love.  so then tonight i cleaned my chain.  re-lubed it and made it stop squeaking.  and then i just wiped down my entire bike.  got all the dirt off and made it look all pretty.  not quite like brand new, but pretty close.  i like my bike.  i like bikes.  i like cycling.  makes me smile.
