the wheels on the bus
i ride the bus pretty often. and i think it's FASCINATING where people choose to sit on the bus. most people bring a book or an ipod while they ride. but me, i just like to watch where people choose to sit. some people go straight to the back. others like the seats that are facing sideways. or some like the ones in the back corner that go all the way across the back. but one thing is common amongst all riders. always choose a row that is as far away from another person as possible. sit at least one empty seat away if at all possible. don't want to get too close to another human being and maybe have a genuine interaction. but if it is absolutely necessary to sit next to someone, make sure you are on the aisle so you have at least one side free. the last seats to go are always the middle of the three person seats. because nobody wants to sit in the middle of two random strangers if they don't have to. i think it's super interesting when somebody sits in an aisle seat and leaves the window seat open next to them. it's like saying don't sit next to me. so then it ends up being the last seat filled before people start standing. i always wonder what someone would do if the bus was almost completely empty and i went and sat down right next to them. a fun social experiment. it all makes sense of course. i do the same exact thing as the unstated rules i listed above. but for some reason it never gets old for me to watch where people choose to sit. i think it says a lot about who they are. well maybe not a lot. but i think it's interesting for sure.

i do the same thing. i always looks where people sit!
i, personally, always like to sit in the front almost directly next to the driver. like the first seat on the left (when you're walking on). i like to look out the big windshield and watch people come on the bus and usually talk to the driver in the process.
I guess this runs in our family. I do the same thing. It's so interesting where people sit! I'm just like Caitlin. I like to sit in the front and talk to the driver.
