It's almost impossible
It's so hard for these youth to get anywhere. They try to go to college so that they can get a job that pays more than minimum wage so they can afford an apartment and get off the street. But college is so hard when you are homeless. Where do you do your homework? Where do you type your papers? The public library is cool, but you can only use the computers for 1.5 hours per day. Those are just some logistical issues. There are so many other bigger issues that makes college so incredibly difficult. Alright and then what about getting a job. You need to look presentable to get a job which means a shower and clean clothes and not carrying a giant backpack and sleeping bag. Which basically means you need a place to live to take that shower and store your clothes. But how do you pay for an apartment if you don't have a job? And then let's say you do get a job, it probably pays minimum wage and is something like telemarketing or door to door sales. Which is just more rejection in their life because they haven't been rejected enough by their parents and society and every body on the street that stares right through them. There's just this vicious cycle that makes it almost impossible to get off the street. It's like you need one thing to do the other thing but you need the second one to do the first one, too. It's not cool. It shouldn't be so hard.

Doesn't College have a computer room where you can do your homework and use the computers? If a kid is homeless and smart enough to get into college, wouldn't the college let him dorm? If he or she is smart enough, they should be allowed a chance to make something of themselves. You have to think it is possible so maybe it can happen, at least to an exceptionally smart kid. They deserve that chance. You are smart enough to make this happen. I never heard you say anything is impossible.
Why don't you ever answer my comments?
