The trees and flowers have started blooming in Seattle. I know this is a ridiculous concept to most of you on the east coast because I have heard there is a bunch of snow right now. But over here, there are pink and white flowers on the tips of branches. The daffodils are peaking their heads through the ground. There are signs of new life and new growth everywhere. It is awesome. I walked around this park yesterday and just looked at all of the blooming going on. So cool.
I can't help but think of how we, as people, mimic nature. We go through seasons of life. We have new beginnings and new growth. We have hard dark times, too. But everything only happens for a time. It is cool to see all of the blooming every spring because it reminds me that life will get to that point too. I will come to a new season sooner than I think. The colors of the flowers and new buds were very unexpected for me because it is still so early compared to what I am used to. I'm sure I will have some unexpected seasons creep up on my in my life.
New life. New growth. New season.
