A visitor

Today one of my friends from Lehigh, Lisa K, was in town visiting a friend and doing some other things.  So we got lunch and talked about life, specifically hers and mine.  Then a little later we went to Kirkland and walked around the water a little.  We sat on this dock and talked about life some more, specifically how society got this way, non-profit politics, consumerism, passive aggressive-ness, etc.  It was a good conversation.  And it was cool to have it as the sun was setting over the Seattle skyline across the water.  The sky was all kinds of crazy.  But, yeah, it was really good to see her and catch up on life.  I like old friends, they remind you of things that you sometimes forget about.  It's also weird to see Lehigh people in Seattle.  It kind of throws me off.  But in a good way.  And conversations about life, specific or general, are always good to have.
