Graduation

Tomorrow is graduation for Fall crew 2009.  More to com tomorrow night.  But basically it is a weird feeling.  I will never see most of these kids again, ever.  Not just that were my first ever youth at SYGW, but also that I have worked alongside of them for 2.5 months now.  It's like losing 10 co-workers in one day.  You miss them fore sure.  I will definitely miss these kids.  They are each fantastic in their own way.  Like for real, just really great humans.  It is crazy that they are graduating, but so awesome and I am so incredibly proud of each of them.  There were many things stacked against each of them.  So many societal pressures and/or injustices that could have prevented them from making it through this program.  But they made it.  And will be moving on to even better things.  It is so exciting.  Tomorrow is going to be such a wonderful day.
