A little wet

I usually get a ride to the office in the morning.  Since we take the work van to the garden each day, they have to get back to the office somehow the next morning.  So we just drive them.

Today I had to be at work earlier than everyone else and I had to go somewhere after work.  So I decided it would be best to bike.  I woke up this morning and it was raining just a little bit.  I checked the weather and it said it was going to stop soon and not rain until late tonight.  15 minutes later it stopped, just like they said it would.  So I was like ok sweet, it looks like I will still be able to bike.  I got all ready and by the time I was heading out the door, the sky looked pretty good.  I hopped on and peddled.  Maybe 10 minutes later it started pouring and poured until I got to the office then it slowed down and stopped.  I was SOAKED.  And of course I didn't bring a change of clothes or anything.  I had a rain jacket on, but my jeans and sneakers were super wet.  I went into the bathroom and tried to dry myself off with some paper towels.  I took some and put them on my thighs under my jeans to try and soak up the water while I sat at my computer.  It was pretty silly.

It was kind of cool though.  It actually was a really nice bike ride.  I really like biking in the rain.  By the time I got home tonight I was COMPLETELY dry.  It was an interesting start to my day though.

Rain is so cool.  It's just like water.  Falling from the sky.
