A few random things...

Today I got a Washington State Drivers License.  I am now OFFICIALLY a resident of Washington State.  Pretty exciting!

Also, I went to this meeting which is an alliance of all the agencies in the University District of Seattle that work with homeless youth.  It was cool to meet lots of people and learn about their agencies so I can refer youth.  But it's just cool in general that they have this alliance.  I feel like this was one thing that was lacking in Bethlehem.  It seemed like a lot of the agencies didn't communicate with each other.

Also, also, I had Thai food for the first time today.  I know, pretty weird that I have never had it considering I generally like to try new things.  I've been wanting to try it for a while but just haven't had the chance.  So I had some Pad Thai (hold the chicken, extra veggies) and it was fabulous.  There are a million Thai places in this city, so I am sure I will be having it again soon.
